Hello, I’m Jane Goodchild, a passionate Interior Designer, based in Suffolk, and founder of JG Interior Design.
I believe in creating interiors that are beautiful, bespoke and functional. A home should be inviting and a reflection of your personal journey and individual style.
With over 25 years’ experience working in the fashion and textiles industry, for global brands including Calvin Klein, Mulberry and French Connection, I have applied all of my skills and knowledge into designing beautiful bespoke interiors.
I love working on a wide range of projects, including individual room makeovers, residential refurbishments, interior styling and commercial properties.
I have a passion for textiles, colour and sourcing antique treasures. Designing each project using sustainable materials, where possible, and repurposing furniture and one-off pieces. Creating a stylish, custom-made environment, tailored to your lifestyle.

E-design
Too busy to meet up? This design service is all online and from the comfort of your own home or office. Just a few design questions to answer and a call to discuss your requirements, and we'll do the rest.
Design Consultation
A design consultation is a great way to get some expert interior design advice and inspiration to kickstart a project. From one room to an entire house, we have a package to suit your needs and budget.
Interior Styling
Interior styling is a service to organise your space and present your property to its full potential. Whether selling your property or getting ready to rent it out, this process will showcase your home at its very best.
E-Design Packages
An online design service which provides an alternative to the traditional interior design process.
A helping Hand
If you just need a few ideas to get you inspired, this is a design consultation, but all done online.
I can give design ideas on how to update your space, suggest colour schemes, basic styling tips or a floor plan.
What’s included;

- Styling ideas or a Floor plan
This option is cost effective, at £150 per room and takes around 1 week to design.
Refresh and refurbish
If you require a simplistic design or would like to update certain elements of your room, this is the package for you. You may want some new furniture, update lighting, add soft furnishings or artwork etc.

- Phone/Video call to discuss your ideas
- Digital Mood Board
- Product Board with key furniture suggestions
- Floor Plan
- Shopping List with clickable links
This option is at £250 per room and takes
1 -2 weeks to design.
The Full Monty
If you need a complete room designed, this is the best option. I would virtually design your room which includes a new colour scheme, floor finishes, furniture and home accessories, layout and space planning, window treatments and styling advice.

This package costs £400 per room and takes 2 -3 weeks to design.

Meeting either in-person at your home, or via video call, we’ll spend an hour discussing your space and what you would like the room to offer. I’ll follow up with a report summarising the ideas discussed, so you can fix your design quandary.
This design package is from £95 per room and takes 2-3 days to design.

A 90 minute in person meeting, followed up with a report including a moodboard, showing suggested paint colours and ideas for wall and floor finishes (such as wallpaper, tile and carpet choices), along with suggestions for furniture and accessories.

This design service starts from £100 per room
